बाढीपीडित नेपालीका लागि फोक्स्टोन समुदायबाट २४ घण्टामै £२,००० भन्दा बढी सहयोग
नेपालमा बाढी तथा पहिरोबाट प्रभावित परिवारलाई सहयोग गर्न फोक्स्टोन नेपाली समुदाय (FNC) ले सञ्चालन गरेको नेपाल बाढी राहत अपिल २०२६ मा पहिलो २४ घण्टामै £२,००० भन्दा बढी रकम संकलन भएको छ। अभियानले £५,००० जुटाउने लक्ष्य राखेको छ। FNC ले बेलायतमा रहेका नेपाली तथा सहयोग गर्न इच्छुक सबैलाई आफ्नो क्षमताअनुसार योगदान गर्न र अभियानलाई परिवार, साथीभाइ तथा सामाजिक सञ्जालमार्फत अधिकतम शेयर गर्न आग्रह गरेको छ। हरेक सानो योगदानले पनि विपद्मा परेका नेपाली परिवारलाई राहत पुर्याउन महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका खेल्न सक्छ।

अर्जेन्टिनाका महान् फुटबलर लियोनेल मेस्सीले अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय फुटबलबाट सन्न्यासको घोषणा गरेका छन्। ३९ वर्षीय मेस्सीले अर्जेन्टिनाका लागि २०७ खेलमा १२५ गोल गरेका छन्। कतारमा भएको २०२२ विश्वकप जिताउँदै ऐतिहासिक सफलता दिलाएका मेस्सीले अब राष्ट्रिय टोलीलाई आफूले दिन सक्ने सबै कुरा दिइसकेको बताएका छन्।

१२ वर्षपछि फोक्स्टोन नेपाली कम्युनिटी (FNC) ले FNC Football Tournament 2026 आयोजना गर्दैछ। आगामी १२ सेप्टेम्बर २०२६ मा हुने प्रतियोगितामा मुख्य, भेटेरान र सुपर भेटेरान गरी तीन विधामा नेपाली तथा गोर्खा समुदायका टोलीहरू सहभागी हुनेछन्। प्रतियोगिताले खेलकुदसँगै नेपाली समुदायबीच मित्रता, एकता र पुस्ताबीचको सम्बन्ध बलियो बनाउने उद्देश्य राखेको छ। सहभागी हुन चाहने टोलीहरूले FNC को आधिकारिक वेबसाइटमा टोली दर्ता गर्न सक्नेछन्।
