India approves 18-hour daily power exports to Nepal until December 2026

• Kathmandu, September India has approved the export of electricity to Nepal for up to 18 hours a day from September 13 to December 31.
• The Indian Ministry of Power has authorised the export of electricity to the Nepal Electricity Authority through the 400 kV Muzaffarpur-Dhalkebar double-circuit line and the 132 kV Tanakpur-Mahendranagar single-circuit line.
